I like to play the Game King $1 Double Double Bonus Machines. It has multiple games available and allows you to play with different denominations.
I've been trying to hit the elusive progressive jackpot and have been putting all my money in a particular machine. The other night, I went to the casino and found someone on my regular machine. I hung back for a while and watched them play. Within 30 minutes, they hit a .25 royal flush. My question is: does that .25 royal flush hurt my chances of getting the $1 royal flush that I was after (on the same machine, of course)? Anybody care to share their strategy on what justifies changing a machine?

I play Game Kin video poker weekly at a local indian casino. I always play in the bar area. After sitting at a machine and finding it not doing fantastic, I find out the man next to me just hit for .25 royal 20 minutes earlier on it. I was thinking of leaving it when my friend the bartender encouraged me not to saying he sees them hit twice within a few hours frequently. Well it gave me a 4 of a kind so I switched from .50 play to $1 and it hit again for the royal less than 45 minutes after the first one. Needless to say I was stoked!

Congratulations! One win is all it takes. Don't know how many times I've been ready to leave and then my luck will seem to take a turn for the better. It's a great feeling, isn;t it?
