For those of you in the Vegas area who might be looking to improve your video poker strategy, here's something that you might be interested in.
Video poker expert Bob Dancer is currently conducting free weekly lessons. The classes are held on Tuesdays inside the Twin Creeks Steak House at the Silverton casino. Beginner classes start at 10 a.m., and intermediate classes begin at noon.

I have the complete set of Bob Dancer's strategy cards and his strategy books too. Top notch stuff, all of it. If I lived close enough to take advantage of those classes, I surely would.

I've read Million Dollar Video Poker and really enjoyed it.
It details all kinds of interesting topics, from managing a bankroll to getting the comps that are coming to you. It also talk about how he and his wife cleaned up at Video Poker. Pretty fun stuff.

The best strategy book to get is the first one on Jacks or Better strategy. That's the foundation for almost all of the other strategies and games, and it's also the most common game you can find. Pickem Poker is a good one too, since the strategy is pretty easy, but you can't always find a game.

Thanks for the suggestion, Lewis. I'm going to pick that one up.
