Default Are Players Still Gambling Online in U.S.?

I noticed this press release from the Bodog casino:

"Last night was a huge one in the Bodog casino! Leading the pack with an amazing $16,175.00 win playing on the Food Fight slot machine was A.H. of CA. The real series video slot machine game Ronin is where R.S. of MD decided to play, and a great choice it was he took home $16,003.78.

Great luck in the Bodog casino last night for two Texans, T.M. of TX was playing the Double Double Bonus Poker video poker machine and he ended his session up an incredible $12,350.00. D.C. of TX sat down at the Tricard Poker table, and finished up $14,050.00.

Blackjack was the choice of both E.V. of CA, and R.P of CT, they sat down at Bodog’s online blackjack game and ended their sessions up $13,193.50, and $10,025.00 respectively."

My question is, how is this still possible with the new law in effect?

I'm guessing that they (they meaning the government) must not have started cracking down on the banks yet, since the law targets banking institutions and not the actual casinos or players.

But that's just a guess.

Bodog seems to act as though nothing is going on. I wonder why they have yet to be affected, i.e. one of their corporate heads getting arrested?

Give it time. The government will get around to them before long.

Everytime I turn around, another online poker room or casino is closing its doors to US customers. The latest came yesterday when Tony G poker closed down.

Bad time to be a gambler in the U.S.

The owner of Bodog better keep his butt out of the US. I'll bet they're just waiting on him.
