Default VP Being Reduced in North Carolina

In early June, North Carolina Gov. Mike Easley signed a bill banning video poker machines from the state by summer 2007. Those located on tribal lands are exempted. The measure would slowly reduce the number of machines any retailer could operate or distributor set up at one location from three to none by July 1, 2007.
