The county attorney’s office confirmed Tuesday that a Hillsborough County grand jury was expected to indict two Milford VFW employees for allegedly paying out winnings in an illegal gambling operation.

The indictments are expected by the end of the week and will be the first since the Harley Sanford Post 4368 was raided eight weeks ago.

Five video poker machines and $32,000 in cash were seized in the Feb. 24 bust after a lengthy undercover investigation.
