Default What's Your VP Personality?

I got this out of the always excellent StrictlySlots magazine:

Answer each of these questions honestly-

1. Which statement describes you best?
a. I like to make my gambling money last as long as possible. I'll give up getting frequent jackpots ifit means I won't lose a lot of money.
b. I sometimes get bored while playing. I'll accept some short-term losses in exchange for some challenge.
c. I need excitement. I don't mind losing as long as I can get the "big hit" occasionally.
d. I love big jackpots.

2. When you go to play video poker, do you...
a. Set your gambling budget on a daily basis and stop playing when you've reached your maximum?
b. Set your gambling on a trip basis?
c. Set your gambling budget, but dip into the next day's allotment when you've reached your limit?
d. Never establish a gambling budget?

3. How much do you typically bring for a session of quarter video poker games?
a. less than $100
b. $100 to $249
c. $250 to $499
d. $500 or more

4. How often do you play video poker?
a. Hardly ever
b. Occassionally
c. Regularly
d. Frequently

5. How long is one of your typical video poker sessions?
a. More than 5 hours
b. 3-5 hours
c. 2-3 hours
d. Less than 2 hours

Now give yourself the following points:
1 for each "a" answer
2 points for each "b"
3 points for each "c"
4 points for each "d"

Now add up your score and see what kind of player you are:

A score of 5 to 7 means you are a Maximizer. You like to make your budget last as long as possible and will avoid big losses b sacrificing big wins. You enjoy getting comps, but you don't want to pay too much for them.

A score of 8 to 12 defines you as a Player. You want to have fun and can tolerate swings in your bankroll. You read about strategy and may even practice games on your computer.

13 to 17 means that you're an Adventurer. You get bored easily and want the thrill of a big jackpot. You'll bring a big bankroll but don't expect to come home with it. You expect good comps.

If the score is 18 to 20, you are a Thrill-Seeker. You're a free-wheeling player with a large bankroll. You don't mind losing, because you know that one day you'll hit it big and make it all back. You like the status of being a hosted player and love to be treated like a king.
