Has anybody seen any good movies lately, on DVD or at the theatre?
I saw Where Eagles Dare last night, starring Clint Eastwood and Richard Burton. It was about a team of commandos going behind enemy lines to rescue a captured American general from a German castle. It was almost 3 hours long, but it was pretty entertaining stuff (especially if you like those old war movies made in the 60s and 70s).

I also saw Inside Man and Remember the Titans recently. Denzel Washington was excellent in both films, although Titans seemed better suited as a TV movie. It was about a black football coach taking over a newly-integrated team and their struggles in pursuit of a winning season.
Inside Man had a lot of twists and turns and dealt with a bank robbery (Denzel played a hostage negotiator). It also starred Jodie Foster and Clive Owen. It certainly kept you guessing, although I thought the ending was a little flat.

Denzel is the man. If you haven't seen it, I would also say to see Malcolm X. Very inspiring, whether you're black or white.
I saw Barbershop the other night. That was some funny stuff. Ice Cube has really improved as an actor. |

Denzel is the bomb. LOOOOVED him in Training Day. Man, Alonzo Harris was the coolest cat ever.

He's not hard on the eyes, either.

I saw Must Love Dogs the other night with my woman. Yuck. I hate those movies, but I wanted to get a little lovin' later, so what's a guy to do?

Ah, the sacrifices we must make to "get a little lovin'."
