Default Jamie Gold Wins the World Series of Poker

Looks like we have a winner. Hollywood producer Jamie Gold beat out Paul Wasicka to become the 2006 World Series of Poker champion.

It's time to learn everything there is to know about Mr. Gold. Maybe he can produce his own biopic.

LOL!

I read his bio on Wikipedia. Sounds like he's led an interesting life. You've got to admire a self-made man (or woman, for that matter ).

Looks like he's probably not going to be keeping all his winnings. I guess he had some folks staking him and buying a percentage of his action in the main event. By some accounts I've read that he owes over 50% of his pre-tax winnings to other people.

Wow! 50% of his winnings?! Still, how much will he make over the next year in endorsements and such?

I guess that depends a lot on what Bodog is paying him.

Any idea what these online casinos usually fork over for such a thing?
