If you're looking for a lackluster gambling experience, head on over to Hooters Casino. Here's a link to their website:
http://www.hooterscasinohotel.com/ The website seems written like an ad for their restaurant, not for a multi-million dollar casino. I don't want "zany fun" at a casino. I want good games with a decent chance of winning. Video Poker machines are hard to find, as most of the layout seems to be for slot machines. There are a few VP machines, but they're scattered all to hell. The ones they do have aren't really even worth your time. They're short-pay, with such nonsense as 6/5 Jacks?! Sorry, but a bunch of waitresses in tight shirts are not going to get me to come back. If I want cleavage, Vegas has a nice assortment of gentlemen's clubs that I can visit.

The bartops just inside the front door offer 25 cent 9/6 Jacks or Better. That's a full pay machine, so that's not bad at all. They also offer 8/5 Bonus Poker in the same place, which is also a full pay machine, but not as good a payback percentage as the Jacks or Better game. (99.54% on Jacks or Better compared to 99.17% on the Bonus Poker game.)
All casinos have lame video poker somewhere on the floor, but a lot of them have really good machines too, if you can find them. |
