Watch out when you drive near Tunica, Mississippi. Reports indicate that some crooks are targeting folks visiting the casinos.

Recently, a robber bumped his car into his victim's car. When she pulled over to exchange insurance information, he held her up.

On September 4, a purse snatcher robbed two people in a parking lot near the Grand Casino. Deputies arrested and charged a man, but it still has some tourists worried.

Tunica tourist Wanda Sample said, "I've been scared the whole time I've been here."

Sample has heard about the crimes. Because of them, she takes her husband wherever she goes.

Sample said, "With everything that's happening in Memphis and here, I haven't walked into the hotel by myself without him."

Sample says the crime won't keep her away from Tunica, but she hopes deputies catch the robber soon.

She says, "I like it here, but I just always stay close to my husband."

If someone bumps the back of your car, the DeSoto County Sheriff says call his department immediately, pull over in a well populated area, and drive off if you think the other driver looks suspicious.
