It was announced today that the Grand Casino Biloxi Hotel and Spa will re-open August 17.

Renovations have been going on for a year following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, and the new casino features more than 800 slot machines, 28 table games, a 500-room hotel, 300-seat buffet, Asian cafe, steakhouse, Starbucks, and a full-service spa.

I'm afraid I would spend all my time in the Starbucks and full-service spa.

But seriously, I'm so glad to hear that things are getting somewhere back to normal after the horrible events of Katrina.

Has anyone had a chance to visit them since they re-opened?
