AC Dealers Reject Union
As reported by the Press of Atlantic City: "The United Auto Workers union has been dealt its second straight losing hand in attempts to unionize Atlantic City casino employees.
"Dealers at the Atlantic City Hilton Casino Resort voted 316-268 on Saturday to reject the union amid a contentious battle between the casino's management and the UAW.
"...The Hilton vote, announced Sunday, represented the second consecutive loss for the UAW after the union had scored overwhelming victories in the first two elections involving casino dealers.
"Despite the setback, UAW officials vowed to continue their union drive at all 11 Atlantic City casinos. The next election is scheduled for this Saturday at Bally's..."
