Is it just me, or does Atlantic City seem to be more of a haven for serious, repeat gamblers, while Vegas gets all the tourists?
Maybe I'm wrong, but it sure seems that way sometimes.

Vegas has become a real circus. I would have liked to seen it in the old days when it was somewhat seedy but otherwise a mecca for the serious gamblers. Since the coprorations have come in, it's pretty much become a tourist trap.
They might as well have Mickey Mouse wave to you when you enter the city limits.

I agree. I don't get to go as much as I would like, but when I have a chance to do some serious gambling with less distractions, I like to go to Atlantic City. Vegas is so full of tourists and bachelorette parties that it's maddening.
I wonder what it's like to be born and raised in Vegas? I bet they really hate all the tourists (unless, of course, they make a living off of them). Sort of like growing up in Branson, Missouri, I imagine.
