"The Holder Hospitality Group Inc. has placed its 13 Nevada gaming properties up for sale.

Holder’s Eastern District President Sean Mowray said this morning that owner Harold Holder is planning to retire and has contacted an investment bank to help facilitate the sale of the casinos — which include the Stockmen’s and Commercial in Elko and Red Garter in West Wendover.

Mowray said it is going to take “at least nine to 12 months, if not longer, to complete such a transaction as this.”

Mowray was unaware this morning what Holder’s asking price is for the 13 casinos. It is more than $200 million, according to an article in the Reno Gazette-Journal."
